Phase 1 — Google Business Profile (Days 1–14)

  2. Use exact business name (no keyword stuffing — Google penalises)
  3. Pick the most specific primary category, then up to 9 secondary categories
  4. Add full address, phone, hours and website
  5. Upload 15+ high-quality photos: exterior, interior, team, products
  6. Add 3–5 short videos (under 30s)
  7. Write a 750-character description with natural keyword inclusion
  8. Add product / service catalogue with prices
  9. Enable messaging and Q&A monitoring

Phase 2 — Reviews + reputation (Days 15–45)

  1. Set up review-request automation (post-purchase WhatsApp / email)
  2. Aim for 25+ reviews in first 60 days
  3. Reply to every review within 48 hours (good and bad)
  4. Use natural keywords in review responses (not stuffing)
  5. Cross-list on JustDial, Sulekha, IndiaMART, Yelp where relevant

Phase 3 — On-site local signals (Days 30–60)

  1. Add LocalBusiness schema to homepage and contact page
  2. Create dedicated location pages for each city you serve
  3. Embed Google Maps on contact page
  4. Add NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistently across footer + contact
  5. Build city + service landing pages (e.g., /seo-services-mumbai)
  6. Add city-specific testimonials with the city name in alt text

Phase 4 — Local link building (Days 45–90)

  1. Get listed on city-specific business directories
  2. Sponsor a local event, get a backlink
  3. Partner with non-competing local businesses for link swaps
  4. Submit to industry associations (FICCI, NASSCOM chapter, local trade bodies)
  5. Pitch to local news outlets with a story angle
  6. Get listed on Clutch, GoodFirms, DesignRush for service businesses
  7. Add your business to local Reddit / Facebook groups (genuine, not spam)
